I chose Ivan B, singer born in 1996, part of the rap scene since high school. His texts are very deep, his style is centered on heartbreak, self feelings and love. His beats are slow and calm, his voice is strong and loud.
The title I picked is one of my favorite from him, called "Back to you" - this is also a shout out to my RORL project since the music is about a long distance relationship and its challenges.
As my photos express longing, talk about a long distance relationship and its inconvenients, I worked on one of them. Eyes looking by the window, a posture of longing and sensuality, a missing part of somebody illustrated.

Back to you is a rap song, but more like a Ballad/love declaration when listening to it. It screams passion and intense feelings towards a loved one - the destructive absence that can change a relationship.

Those covers are his albums, already existing. I tried to keep the same typography and same mood - which I perceive as dark and lonely.

SHORT MOVIE
I had the opportunity to create a short movie, with two colleagues from my university, back in Amsterdam. We decided to make that production in a hotel out of the city, with three young actors.
I wrote the story and the script, and directed the day of the filming (we took one day to make it).
